Sunday June 12, 2005 Day Off

Finally, a DAY OFF! Woohoo. Who in their right mind scheduled 8 concerts in 8 days, covering 2000 miles and 7 states? Oh... I did.. What was I thinking?? LOL...I told the guys, the hardest part of the tour will be the first 8 days, then..we will have 3 concerts in Ohio with an artist who knows how to hold events.. I'll write more about this person later..

After our event the day before in Indianapolis, we headed back to the Flying J Truck Stop to grab showers and park for the night. The guys from Clemency called us and asked if they could meet us at the Flying J and spend the night in the bus.. We can't get rid of these guys!! They were driving up I-65 from Nashville on their way to a concert in Michigan. They pulled into the Flying J at about 3AM.. I was asleep, but I heard the commotion as they got on the bus. Those kids..Gotta love em:)

I woke up about 9:00 and hit the laundry.. I was just about out of clothes..Came back from doing clothes and spent some time with the Clemency boys. Check out a pic of all of us here...

Check out the size difference in our rigs..the difference between men and boys is the size of their toys:)

We said our goodbyes to the Clemency gang (again, this time for good:) and hit the road for our destinations.. We were headed east to Canton, Ohio. Our sponsor for the next 3 concerts was Paul Guerra. We arrived about 7 and Paul and his wife Robin had a real nice dinner spread for us with burgers, salads and cookies. Just what the doctor ordered! Pual and Robin were such kind hosts, they opened their home to us for 3 days, fed us..and it really refreshed us for the 2nd half of the tour. We hit the sack and looked forward to our next day.

Check out our next day here..Monday, June 13 2005 Akron, OH
